About the event
Join the Wilcox Historical Society for a special members’ trip to Montgomery featuring some of Alabama’s most significant historic sites.
The day will begin with coffee at the Governor’s Mansion and a group photo with Governor Kay Ivey. From there, members will visit the Alabama Department of Archives & History for a special tour that includes Wilcox County materials and archival items not normally open to the general public.
Following a catered lunch at the Archives, the group will tour the First White House of the Confederacy and enjoy a private tour of the Alabama State Capitol before gathering for a final group photo on the Capitol steps.
Non-Member Ticket: $80
Member Ticket: $50
