A Tour Into the Heart of
Wilcox County
Since 1977, the Wilcox Historical Society Tour of Homes has opened the doors to some of Wilcox County’s most extraordinary places, inviting visitors to step beyond the façade and into the stories that shaped generations. Each year, the Tour travels to a different community, revealing a new collection of historic homes, architectural treasures, and rarely seen spaces. It is more than an opportunity to admire beautiful houses—it is a journey into the heart of Wilcox County, where history lives in every porch, doorway, room, and story shared. For nearly fifty years, the Tour has celebrated the people, places, and traditions that make this corner of Alabama unforgettable.
